We’re excited to welcome Luke Zhou to the LaDucTrading team. Once a client, Luke now joins us as a Contributor, bringing a rare blend of Wall Street experience, global perspective, and creative energy to his market analysis, trading approach, and member engagement.
A Background That Spans Finance and the Arts
Luke holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and East Asian Studies and a Master’s in International Economics and Finance, both from Brandeis University.
He spent seven years at BlackRock, where he worked across global client strategy, private equity in oil and gas and clean energy, and insider trading compliance.
In 2017, Luke left finance to follow his passion for music, becoming one of the most sought after DJs in the Northeast while mentoring aspiring musicians. That creative journey shapes the way he reads markets today: data driven discipline paired with intuitive timing.

Luke specializes in multi week swing trading, focusing on US high beta momentum stocks and Chinese equities. His professional background, trader’s edge, and teacher’s heart come together in everything he shares with members.
